Mounting brackets
There are 2 types of mounting brackets, standard
mounting bracket and universal mounting bracket, refer
Wall saw overview on page 4 .
to
The standard mounting bracket attaches the track in
the correct position on the wall. This operator's manual
gives information on how to use the standard mounting
bracket.
The universal mounting bracket attaches the track to
material to be cut or to an adjacent area. For information
on how to use universal mounting bracket, refer to the
operator's manual of the universal mounting bracket.
To assemble the mounting bracket

1. The part of the mounting bracket closest to the wall.
It has grooves for expander bolts and a spirit level to
use if you mount the brackets horizontally.
2. The part of the mounting bracket that holds the rail.
It has a spirit level to use if you mount the bracket
vertically.
3. Spring weighted clamping washer. The clamping
washer locks the track to the mounting bracket.
This makes it possible to snap shut the track in the
mounting bracket.
4. Locking screw. Use it to tighten the clamping
washer.
5. Locking screw. The two parts of the mounting
bracket should be placed in neutral position. If the
concrete surface is even, the blade will be placed
in a 90 degrees angle to the surface to be cut.
If the concrete surface is uneven, you can change
the position of the mounting bracket with the locking
screw to adjust the cutting angle.

To improve access to the locking screws for angle
adjustment (4) and/or the locking screw for the clamping
washer (5), the mounting brackets can be mirrored.
1. Remove the screw (4) which holds the two halves of
the mounting bracket (1) and (2) together. Separate
the two halves.
2. Move the pin (3) from one side of the mounting
bracket half (2) to the other side.
3. Press together the two halves again and refit the
screw (4) from the other side. In normal position, the
index line on the mounting bracket half (2) should
align with the 0-line on the mounting bracket half (1).
To fit the mounting brackets to the wall
Use the clamp and washer on either side of the track
when you place the mounting brackets. A minimum of
two mounting brackets must be used. If more tracks
are spliced together, you need one mounting bracket for
each track section.
1. Mark the cutting line (A). Mark the holes for the
expander bolts approximately 145 mm (5.7 inches)
(B) from the cutting line.
