There is a danger of choking or suffocat-
ing!

Assembly
CAUTION
Danger of injury due to rotating blade. Only work on
the product when the blade is switched off and sta-
tionary!
Some parts of the delivery come disassembled. For
quick and easy assembly, read and follow the instruc-
tions below.
NOTE
You will need the following additional tools, which is
not included in the scope of delivery, for assembly,
and also for maintenance work:
• Oil collecting tray, flat (for oil change)*
• 1 litre measuring beaker (oil / petrol-proof)*
• Fuel canister*
• Funnel*
• Cloth*
• Fuel extraction pump*
• Oil can with hand pump*
• Pliers*
• Phillips screwdriver*
• Open-ended spanner/socket spanner, size 10 mm*
• Open-ended spanner/socket spanner, size 17 mm*
• Socket spanner, size 21 mm*

Installing the push bar (Fig. 3- 6,
10)
ATTENTION
Ensure that the throttle cable is not squeezed when
mounting the push bars.

1. Hold the lower push bar (9) with one guide for the
push bar (11) each at the holes provided for this on
the lawnmower.
2. Install the lower push bar (9) with the guide for the
push bar (11) by pushing one M8 screw (A) each
through the hole provided for this from the inside.
3. Secure the M8 screw (A) with a plastic washer (E)
and a star grip nut (8). Ensure that the pull cord,
which will be fastened later with a cable clip (10),
and the Bowden cable are not in the way.
4. Screw the upper push bar (5) tight to the lower push
bar (9) using one quick clamp lever (7), one large
washer (C), one small washer (B) and one plastic
star grip nut (8) on each side.

Fitting the electric starter unit (6)
(Fig. 1, 7-11)
The throttle cable is pre-assembled on the engine brake
lever (3) when delivered. To install the electric starter
unit, you must first unhook it.
1. To relieve the strain on the throttle cable, press the
right-hand side of the engine brake lever (3) out of
the plastic holder on the upper push bar (5).
2. Now move the engine brake lever (3) forwards to
unhook the throttle cable from the holder on the en-
gine brake lever (3).
3. Use the screws (D) to secure the electric starter unit
(6) to the upper push bar (5).
4. Use a Phillips screwdriver* to tighten the screws (D).
5. Use two velcro tapes (F) to fasten the electric starter
unit (6) cable to the lower push bar (9).
6. Pull the throttle cable through the electric starter unit
(6) as shown in Fig. 8.
7. Insert the throttle cable into the engine brake lever
(3) and press the right-hand side of the engine brake
lever (3) back into the plastic holder on the upper
push bar (5).
8. Hook the handle of the pull starter (26) into the ca-
ble hook (25).
9. Fix the throttle cable with the enclosed cable clip (10)
to the lower push bar (9).
