• 1f the encoder cables are partícularly long (more than 10 meters), it is
necessary to double the supply wíres (OV and 5V) so as to increase the
sectíon of the supply conductors, makíng sure that the encoders
receíve the necessary voltage.
Specíal supply cables wíth two conductors wíth íncreased sectíon are
also avaílable.
• The earth termínal (GND) of the DNC must be connected by a copper
braíd minimum 20 mm2 separated and connected directly to the
casing of the electrícal cabínet (see fıg. below).

From mid 1997 on, the DNC 80, 800 and 900 aгe equípped wíth a
fıxatíon plate / intermediate connection oп which the carth braid is
screwed.
Delívered wíth the numeńcal control, a braid connects the plate to the
DNC. Thís must imperatively be connected to the termínal províded
for ít.
The upper clamp ís used as a cable clamp and should be securely
tíghtened .
The lower clamp equipped wíth spríngs assures a perfect earthíng of
the shields.
