Base plate of the
cabínet made of
anodísed metal or

Clampíng of the
shíelded cable
dírectly on the shíeld
against the base

в
• Shíeldíng, on the síde of the electrical cabínet.
The aim ís to connect the shielding to the mass wíth the largest
possible surface and as near as possíble to the cable destínation.
Each shíeld must be connected to the cabínet mass by means of a sma11
metallic plate whích serves also as a cable clamp (see above). 1n this
case ít ís ímportant that the base plate of the electrical cabínet ís made
either of anodísed metal or alumíníum.
It is possible to use a metallic stuffing box (or other clamping system)
clamped dírectly on to the shíeld (attentíon, the piece which clamps
the cable must also be metallíc and not ísolating).
Obviously, the wires not shíelded must be a short as possible.

• The sMelded cables destíned for the power (servo-amplis) or
measurement sígnals must not be interrupted (avoíd passíng over the
íntermedíate termínals in the electrícal cabinet).
They must be away from the ínterfering elements and hígh voltage
cables.
• The shíelded cables destined for the command (+ 24VDC) must have a
minimum sectíon of
0,34 mm2
for the DNC - cabínet línk cables.
0,5 mm2
for the cables in the electrícal cabínet:
• Each supply termína124VDC(24V) and OVDC(24V) of the DNC must
be connected by a conductor with a section of 0.75 mm2
a shíelded
cable separated at the source of the supply in questíon (thís can be
several termínals in the electrical cabinet whích are supplíed by one or
several conductors wíth a sufficíent sectíon).
The OV ís not ídentícal to the earth.
A OV exists for each voltage.
The OV must be connected to the earth at one poínt on1y, using a
conductor with a sufficient section (see fig below).
Each OV must be connected separately by a wire with a sufficient
sectíon to the relatíve supply.
