Press PREFERENCES button to enter the menu and set:

UNIT OF MEASUREMENT
Press the MEASUREMENTS icon to set the desired units of
measurement (temperature, pressure), the time (12 or 24
hours) and the date format using the cursors shown in the
figure.
Press ENTER to confirm the settings.
DISPLAY
Press the DISPLAY icon to select the screen settings.
The two cursors respectively adjust:

Screen Saver activation time-out
›
Screen brightness
Press ENTER to confirm the settings.
