2 - DESCRIPTION
Nos contacts quotidiens avec le personnel
chirurgical nous permettent d'identifier et de
développer des solutions d'éclairage chirurgical
économiques.
Les principaux avantages du système Axcel
sont :
1) Contrôle amélioré des ombres, d'où une
vision optimale du champ opératoire.
Le projecteur compacte en forme de croix de
l'Axcel peut être positionné de manière à diriger
les faisceaux lumineux autour de la tête du
chirurgien tout en évitant les ombres, avec un
éclairement optimum de 100 000 lux. L'éclairage
Axcel convient à toutes les applications.
2) Distribution uniforme de la lumière sur toute
la profondeur de champ.
Avec l'éclairage Axcel, il n'est plus nécessaire
de refocaliser la lumière pour éclairer les cavités
profondes. Son excellente capacité de pénétra-
tion repose sur quatre « miroirs externes » qui
assurent le croisement des faisceaux lumineux,
et une lentille centrale qui offre une profondeur
de champ de 1 m.
3) Éclairage froid et confortable
L'éclairage Axcel projette de manière efficace la
lumière utile (visible), tout en éliminant la majeure
partie de la chaleur. La lumière est projetée sur
les miroirs externes à revêtement dichroïque où
les infrarouges sont absorbés et dissipés par
conduction et par convection.
4) Vrai rendu des couleurs
La température de couleur de l'éclairage Axcel a
été conçue pour réduire la distorsion des couleurs
et révéler la vraie teinte des tissus. L'éclairage
Axcel comporte un système de filtres spectraux
qui permettent d'obtenir une température de
couleur de 3500 K et un indice de rendu des
couleurs élevé de 95.
5) Conception simple et robuste
L'éclairage opératoire Axcel a été conçu pour être
à la fois exceptionnellement robuste et nécessiter
un minimum de maintenance.
6) Positionnement et déplacement faciles
Exceptionnellement léger, l'éclairage Axcel com-
bine mobilité et stabilité. Son projecteur compact
le rend très facile à manœuvrer.
7) Forme aérodynamique
Pour les salles à écoulement laminaire, la forme
aérodynamique du projecteur de l'éclairage Axcel
et sa faible surface éliminent presque entière-
ment les effets de turbulence et de convection,
ce qui permet à l'air filtré de circuler librement
autour de la lampe.
8) Surface arrondie et lisse pour un nettoy-
age facile
Le projecteur de l'Axcel est étanche et ses sur-
faces lisses et faciles à nettoyer.
9) Remplacement simple et rapide de
l'ampoule
L'ampoule de l'Axcel se remplace rapidement
et aisément, sans outils.

Because of our commitment to working with
surgeons and nurses on a daily basis, we are
able to identify and develop cost-effective solu-
tions for the surgical light.
The innovative Axcel System key advantages
are:
1) Improved shadow control for optimal
visualization.
Axcel's original compact cross-shape lighthead
is an advantage since it can be positioned to
direct the light beams around the surgeon's head,
avoiding potential shadows with up to 100,000
lux illumination, Axcel is designed for a wide
range of applications.
2) Uniform light distribution throughout the
depth of field.
With Axcel, there is no need to refocus the
light to illuminate deep cavities. Superior cavity
penetration is based on four "external mirrors"
that cross the individual light beams and one
central lenses that provide 1 m (39.37 inches)
depth of field.
3) Cool, comfortable lighting
Axcel is efficiently projecting useful (visible) light
while eliminating the majority of the heat compo-
nent. Light is projected onto the external dichroic
coated mirrors where the infrared component is
absorbed and is dissipated by conduction and
convection.
4) True color rendition
Axcel's color temperature was designed to re-
duces color distortion and reveals true tissue.
Axcel incorporates a spectral filter system yielding
a color temperature of 3,500 K and a high color
rendition index (CRI) of 95.
5) Simple, durable design
"Set it and forget it". The new Axcel surgical light
was designed to be exceptionally durable and
to require minimal maintenance.
6) Ease of positionning and movement
Axcel is exceptionally light, combining mobility
and stability. The small size of the Axcel lighthead
makes it easily maneuverable.
7) Cross-shaped design
For laminar flow rooms, the aerodynamic shape
of the Axcel lighthead and its small area practi-
cally eliminate convection and turbulence effects,
allowing the filtered air to circulate freely around
the lighthead.
8) Rounded, smooth surface for ease of
cleaning
The Axcel lighthead is sealed and its surfaces
are smooth and easy to clean.
9) Fast and easy bulb replacement
The Axcel light bulb can be replaced quickly and
easily without tools.

zieren und zu entwickeln.
Die wesentlichen Vorteile des Axcel-Systems
sind :
1) Verbesserte Schattenkontrolle für eine
optimale Sicht des OP-Feldes.
Der kompakte kreuzförmige Strahler des Axcel
kann so positioniert werden, dass die Lichtstrahl-
en um den Kopf des Chirurgen herum gerichtet
werden und dadurch keine Schatten entstehen,
mit einer maximalen Beleuchtungsstärke von
100.000 Lux.
Die OP-Beleuchtung Axcel ist für alle Anwend-
ungen geeignet.
2) Gleichmäßig Lichtverteilung über die ge-
samte Feldtiefe.
Mit der OP-Beleuchtung Axcel ist es nicht mehr
erforderlich, das Licht nachzufokussieren, um
tiefe Höhlen auszuleuchten. Ihr herausragendes
Ausleuchtvermögen beruht auf vier "Außen-
spiegeln", die die Lichtstrahlen kreuzen, und
einer Zentrallinse, die eine Feldtiefe von 1 m
bietet.
3) Kalte und komfortable Beleuchtung
Die OP-Beleuchtung Axcel bietet eine effiziente
Projektion des nutzbaren (sichtbaren) Lichts und
beseitigt gleichzeitig den größten Wärmeanteil.
Das Licht wird auf die dichroitisch beschichteten
Außenspiegel geworfen, wo die UV-Strahlung
absorbiert und per Leitung und Konvektion
abgeführt wird.
4) Originalgetreue Farbwiedergabe
Die Farbtemperatur der OP-Beleuchtung Axcel
wurde so ausgelegt, dass die Farbverfälschung
reduziert und die tatsächliche Farbe der Gewebe
wiedergegeben wird. Die OP-Beleuchtung
Axcel enthält ein Spektralfiltersystem, das eine
Farbtemperatur von 3500 K und einen hohen
Farbwiedergabeindex von 95 ermöglicht.
5) Einfaches und robustes Design
Die OP-Beleuchtung Axcel ist dank ihrer Kon-
struktion außergewöhnlich robust und äußerst
wartungsarm.
6) Einfache Positionierung und Bewegung
Die OP-Beleuchtung Axcel ist extrem leicht
und verbindet Mobilität und Stabilität. Dank ihres
kompakten Strahlers lässt sie sich ganz einfach
handhaben.
7) Aerodynamische Form
Für Räume mit einer Laminarflow-Strö-
mungsdecke werden dank der aerodynamischen
Form des Strahlers der OP-Beleuchtung Axcel
und ihrer geringen Oberfläche fast alle Turbu-
lenz- und Konvektionswirkungen vermieden,
wodurch die gefilterte Luft frei um die Lampe
strömen kann.
8) Abgerundete und glatte Oberfläche für eine
leichte Reinigung
Der Strahler der OP-Beleuchtung Axcel ist dicht
und seine Oberflächen sind glatt und lassen sich
leicht reinigen.
9) Einfacher und schneller Austausch der
Lampe
Die Lampe der OP-Beleuchtung Axcel kann ohne
Werkzeug schnell und einfach ausgewechselt
werden.
