English
A sealing ring is inserted in the coupling flange
to ensure that there is no leakage between the
coupling flange and the coupling base. The sealing
ring is pushed against the coupling base during
operation, thus sealing the connection.
to ensure unimpaired operation, the suspen-
sion unit must be installed vertically in the
operating area.

type code
Example: DN 150L/2RK
•
DN = discharge port connection type
• DN = flange connection
• R = threaded connection
•
150 = discharge port
•
L = design*
• No specification = standard design
• L = lightweight design
• S = heavyweight design
•
2R = number of guide pipes
•
K = coupling base design
• K = with elbow
• No specification = without elbow; i.e. the
discharge port of the suspension unit is hor-
izontal. To connect a vertical discharge pipe,
a 90° pipe elbow is required.

In order to prevent damage to the product or serious
injury during installation, the following points must
be observed:
•
installation work – assembly and installation
of the machine – may only be carried out by
qualified persons. The safety instructions must
be followed at all times.
•
The machine must be inspected for transport
damage before carrying out any installation
work.
•
The operating area must be clean, with coarse
solid particles removed, dry, frost-free and, if
necessary, decontaminated.
•
Wear appropriate protective clothing and
equipment.
•
A second person must be present for safety
reasons when working in pits and reservoirs.
If there is a risk of poisonous or asphyxiating
gases forming, the necessary precautions must
be taken!
DaNgEr of falling!
Work may be necessary directly at
the edge of the pit during instal-
lation. Carelessness or wearing in-
appropriate clothing could result in
a fall. there is a risk of fatal injury!
take all necessary safety precau-
tions to prevent this.
•
The structural components and foundations
must be of sufficient stability in order to allow
the product to be anchored securely and
functionally. The operator or the supplier is
responsible for the provision of the foundations
and their suitability in terms of dimensions,
stability and strength.
•
Observe all regulations, rules and legal require-
ments for working with and underneath heavy
suspended loads.
•
Please also observe the applicable national
accident prevention regulations and trade
association safety provisions.
•
Inspect the coating before installation. If de-
fects are found, these must be rectified before
installation.
