Hazard labeling on grout cartridges
CaUtioN – irritant substances!
the grout cartridges contain
dibenzoyl peroxide. this substance
is an irritant! Note the following
information:
• r36/38 – causes eye and skin
irritation
• r43 – may cause sensitization by
skin contact
• S37/39 – wear suitable protective
clothing when working
• S26 – in case of contact with
eyes, rinse thoroughly with water
and seek medical advice
• S28 – after contact with skin,
wash immediately with water and
plenty of soap
1. Mark out the holes on the building material.
2. Drill the holes according to the instructions.
3. Thoroughly clean the holes.
4. Insert the grout cartridge in the hole.
if the hole is too deep or has broken away, it
may be necessary to use more than one grout
cartridge.
5. Using a suitable insertion tool, knock and turn
the anchor bolt into the grout until it reaches
the insertion depth marking (a notch on the
bolt). The gap between the building structure
and the anchor bolt must be completely filled
with grout.
6. Carefully remove the insertion tool. If the in-
sertion tool cannot be easily removed, wait for
the following periods:
temperature in drilled
hole
-5 °C ... 0 °C
0 °C ... +10 °C
+10 °C ... +20 °C
+20 °C ...
7.
Let the anchor harden.

0 °C ... +10 °C
+10 °C ... +20 °C
+20 °C ...
Do not move the anchor bolt or place any load
on it during the waiting time. If the building
material is damp, the waiting time is doubled.
When the grout has hardened, clean any impurities
such as dirt, adhesive resin or drilling dust from the
surface. The component to be attached must be
firmly fitted to the base and may not be in any way
loose.
8. Bolt the component to the foundation and
tighten it with the specified torque. The nut
must be coated with locking adhesive and
re-tightened to the specified torque at least
three times in order to counteract any subse-
quent settling.
5.2.3. Fastening with W-FA fix anchors
•
These anchors may only be used in rein-
forced or unreinforced normal concrete with
a strength class of between C20/25 and C50/60
(according to EN 206:2000-12).
•
The anchors are only suitable for crack-free
concrete.
•
Before using fix anchors, the strength of the
structure must be ascertained in order to en-
sure that the reaction forces can be absorbed.
