Inverted tooth chain drive | R418009760–BDL–001–AA/2009-07
• Remove the yellow tag from the inverted tooth chain, take note
of the information on it, and retain it for reference.
• Remove residues of the corrosion protection oil from the
inverted tooth chain drive if the system application requires, e.g.
food industry.
• Check whether the sprockets are secure on the shaft, and
whether they are parallel to each other and aligned.
• Check whether the inverted tooth chain is positioned correctly
and locked safely.
• Lubricate the inverted tooth chain and ensure for a continuous
supply of lubricant.
• Switch the system off in case of an emergency, malfunction or
irregularity and prevent it from switching on again. Observe the
operating instructions for the entire machine or system for these
tasks as well.
• Make sure the inverted tooth chain is sufficiently lubricated.
• Dispose of the packaging material and the inverted tooth chain
drive in accordance with your country's national regulations.
• Dispose of unused corrosion protection oil and lubricant in
accordance with the applicable safety data sheets.
