The outer plates (11) and the axle pivot (6) are already connected
to the end of the chain.
1. Insert the lock pivot (8) through the inverted tooth chain's plate
holes until it stops.
2. Fasten the end of the lock pivot with the split pin (10).
1. Insert the lock pivot (8) through the inverted tooth chain's plate
holes until it stops.
2. Insert the rolling pivot (7) through the plate holes from the
opposite side. Observe the pin arrangement (see Table 8 on
page 66) for this step.
3. Place the washer (9) on the lock pivot's free end (8). The tight
fit of the washer on the pin is an intentional safety measure.
