Inverted tooth chains with split pin locks
damage-free. Proceed as follows:
1. Remove the split pin.
2. Remove the rivet plate and pull out all of the joint pivots, and
keep the lock parts for reuse.
3. Remove the opened inverted tooth chain.
If you open inverted tooth conveyor chains with laser-
welded locks, you must use two new rivet pin locks to lock it
again. Proceed as follows:
1. Break the weld seam
front side of the pins.
The two axle pivots (17) each remain connected to a single
welding plate.

2. Remove the first axle pivot with the connected welding
plate (17).
The rolling pivot (7) need not be replaced.
