CAUTION!
Observe the following points before assembly:
X
Allow the inverted tooth chain drive to acclimatize for several
hours in order to prevent the material from expanding or
contracting.
X
For inverted tooth chains with
inverted tooth chain width matches the sprockets. For inverted
tooth chains with a
central guide groove with the corresponding width.
All inverted tooth drive and conveyor chains with a rolling
pivot joint are relatively stiff-spined and therefore may not be
bent over backwards by force.

Sprocket assembly

Some sprockets might require mechanical machining before
assembly.
Sprocket damage!
Improper mechanical machining can damage sprockets.

If you machine a sprocket, ensure that its static and dynamic
rigidity does not drop below the permitted value. Please
contact Bosch Rexroth AG, Antriebstechnik Zahnkette if you
have any questions.

If you need to adjust the hole, refer to our sales documents
(see page 84) to determine the maximum permitted hole
diameter.
X
Install the sprocket so that it does not distort and is torsion-
free. Ensure that there is no mechanical stress on the
toothing.
X
Never machine the toothing.
