Aufstellen und Anschluss

Gerät erden (Stecker für Potentialausgleichs-Leitung).
Das Gerät ist mit einer Steckvorrichtung für den
Potentialausgleich T ausgerichtet. Lassen Sie die Erdung
ggf. durch sachkundiges Personal durchführen.
Netzkabel am Gerät anschließen, bis zum Anschlag in
Netzgerätestecker U einschieben.

Vorsicht: Überhitzungsgefahr. Eine freie Luftzirku­
lation nach oben, zur Rückseite muss gewährleistet
sein (Rückwandabstand 10 cm).
Gerät mit der Unterseite auf eine Unterlage stellen, die fol-
gende Eigenschaften hat:
• ausreichend groß und stabil
• eben und horizontal
• feste, nicht rutschige Oberfläche
Dies kann auch die Oberseite eines anderen
KARL STORZ - Gerätes sein.
Stellen Sie das Gerät so auf, dass Sie es von Ihrer
Arbeitsposition aus bedienen und die Anzeigen ablesen kön-
nen.
1 hinWeis: Für die Sicherheit der Anwendung ist es
erforderlich, dass das Gerät aus der normalen Ar­
beitsposition heraus leicht bedient werden kann bzw.
dass Anzeigen leicht abzulesen sind. Der Aufstellort
ist entsprechend zu wählen.

Installation and connection

Ground the device (plug for potential equalization).
The device is equipped with a connector for potential equal-
ization T. The device's ground line should be installed by a
qualified electrician.
Connect the power cord up to the device; push it as far as it
will go into the power cord connector U.

caution: Danger of overheating. Make certain
there is free air circulation upwards and to the rear
(distance of rear panel to wall: 10 cm).
Place the unit with its underside facing downward onto a
surface with the following characteristics:
• sufficiently large and stable
• flat and horizontal
• fixed, non-slip surface.
This can also be the top of another KARL STORZ unit.
Position the unit so that you can operate it and see the dis-
plays from your working position.
1 note: For the safety of the application it is important
that the unit can be easily operated from the normal
working position and the displays are clearly visible.
The set­up position must be selected accordingly.
