Safety notes

Please observe the information in this operating manual and also the conditions of
use and the permissible data specified in the data sheets of the Mass Flow
Controller Type 8626, in order that the equipment works properly and has a long
service life:
• In planning its use and during operation of the equipment, keep to the
general rules of technology!
• Installation and evaluation work may only be executed by specialists with
suitable tools!
• Observe the relevant accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical
equipment during operation and maintenance of the equipment!
• Always switch off the power before intervention in the system!
• Take suitable precautions to prevent inadvertent operation or damage by
unauthorized operation!
• In case of non-observance of these notes and unauthorized intervention in
the equipment, all liability on our part will become void; the guarantee on the
equipment and accessories will also become void!

This electronic device is sensitive to electrostatic
discharge (ESD). Contact with an electrostatic
charged person or object endangers the
electronic device. The worst case is that it will be
destroyed immediately or just fail after putting into
operation.
To minimize the possibility of damage by
immediate electrostatic discharge, pay attention
to the requirements of EN 100 015 -1. Please
also pay attention not to assemble the electronic
device while supply voltage is put on.
