Electrical connections
The MFC Type 8626 is connected electrically to power supply, control, etc. via two
cables. These are connected to the electronics via a 7-pole round connector and a
9-pole sub-D connector at the front panel of the MFC. In chapter 5 "Accessories" you
find ordering information for the electric plug connectors, that are recommen-ded in
order to ensure the specified protection class IP65.
For connecting an earthing conductor, a marked hole is provided below left on the
front panel, which enables contact to be made by the PE cable with a self-tapping
screw (Fig.2).
NOTE
To assure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), connect the
housing to a earthing point over as short a cable as possible.
For the standard signal input and the instantaneous value output, one can choose
between the standard signals 4-20 mA, 0-10 V and 0-5 V (plug-in options).
Depending on the actual model, the set point value and the analogue output are
available as one of the standard sígnals 4-20 mA, 0-10 V oder 0-5 V ,respectively.
