Cross Over Mode
Cross over mode requires a thermal bypass valve
(included); Refer to Installa on of Plumbing sec on
(Cross Over Mode Plumbing Diagram)
Thermal Bypass Valve:
Thermal bypass valve is installed between hot and
cold line on furthest xture (ie. end of
domestic water supply).
The valve helps regulate ow from the hot water
line to the cold water line allowing for quicker
delivery of hot water.
No more than 1 thermal bypass valve should be
installed per water heater.
Refer to thermal bypass valve instructi ns for fur-
ther informa on.
(Recirculati n using cross over mode may result in
combustio icon switching ON and OFF several times,
this is normal.)
