Safe Operating Practices
1. Pizza Oven must be assembled and installed according to the instructions in the manual.
2. Read the entire instruction manual before operating Pizza Oven.
3. Pizza Oven must be used outdoors in a well-ventilated area, and cannot be used indoors, in an
enclosed area such as a garage, gazebo, screened-in porch, or another similarly enclosed area.
4. Pizza Ovens are not designed or certified for and are not to be installed in or on recreational
vehicles, portable trailers, boats.
5. Never use the Pizza Oven in windy conditions. If located in a consistently windy area, oceanfront,
mountaintop, etc., a windbreak will be required. Always adhere to the specified clearances
as described in the INSTALLATION section of this manual. Refer to page 12 for additional
information.
6. Do not modify the Pizza Oven.
7. Do not operate the Pizza Oven under, or near combustible construction.
8. Maintain proper clearance to combustibles, 18" (457 mm) to the rear of the unit, 14" (356mm) to
sides.
9. Always shut off the main valve on the Natural Gas Connection after each use.
10. Never attach or disconnect a Natural Gas Connection, or move or alter gas fittings when the Pizza
Oven is in operation or is hot.
11. When the gas Pizza Oven is to be stored indoors, the connection between the Natural Gas hose
and the gas Pizza Oven must be disconnected.
12. Inspect the fuel supply hose before each use. If there is evidence of excessive abrasion or wear
or the hose is cut, it must be replaced before using the gas Pizza Oven with a replacement hose
assembly specified by the Pizza Oven manufacturer.
13. Leak test the unit before initial use, annually, and whenever any gas components are replaced.

14. Use only a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) protected circuit with this outdoor cooking gas
appliance.
15. Follow lighting instructions carefully when operating Pizza Oven.
16. Burner controls must be off when turning the supply Natural gas connection valve on.
17. The Pizza Oven Doors must be fully opened while lighting the Pizza Oven. Failure to do so will risk
an explosion, and personal injury or death.
18. Never lean over the Pizza Oven and keep your face away from Pizza Oven when lighting.
19. Never let your gas hose touch your burner box. Refer to page 10 for additional information.
20. Don't push the electrical cable into the Pizza Oven enclosure. Refer to page 11 for additional
information.
21. Always use a covered hand when opening the Pizza Oven Door and only do so slowly to allow
heat and steam to escape.
22. Do not leave Pizza Oven unattended when operating.
23. Adults and children should be instructed on the hazards of high surface temperatures. Never
leave children unsupervised around the Pizza Oven.
24. Never touch the Pizza Oven stones, door, or immediate surrounding metal surfaces with your
bare hands while operating the Pizza oven.
