Operating the Pizza Oven
Manual lighting
If the burners fail to light after a few attempts, then the burners can be match lit using the supplied
match lighting stick. Follow the steps below for manual Pizza Oven lighting. Read and complete the
PRE-OPERATING checklist.
1. Make sure all control knobs are set off.
2. Always light Pizza Oven with DOORS open.
3. Turn the fuel supply on.
4. Place a match stick in the alligator clip on the match holder and light the match.
5. Remove the manual lighting extension (located behind the warming drawer), and attach a
match to the alligator clip and strike the match to light it
6. Guide the lit match, through the letters cut out on the back burner fireguard. You should see a
flame.
7. If the Back burner fails to ignite within five seconds during the lighting process, turn the burner
control knob to OFF position and wait five minutes to allow the gas to clear before you try again.
8. Once the Back burner is ignited proceed to ignite the Bottom burner.
9. Similarly, Remove the manual lighting extension, with a lit match, pass it through the viewport
located on the control panel Push the corresponding control knob in and turn it to HIGH to
ignite the Bottom burner Check that the flame is lit by looking through the viewport for the
Bottom burner You should see a flame.
10. If the Bottom burner fails to ignite within five seconds during the lighting process, turn the
burner control knob to OFF position and wait five minutes to allow the gas to clear before you
try again.

Alligator Clip
1. To lit the Back Burner,
insert the Alligator clip
through NewAge logo.
Always ensure the bottom burner is operating by observing the flame through the viewport.And also
the back burner is operating by observing the flame through the fireguard Newage logo.
