das Rechaud bei der Verwendung
nicht unnötig zu verschieben, da
es durch das raue Gusseisen zu

Care and safety instructions
Dear kela customer,
Congratulations on your pur-
chase or our Calido fondue. The
instructions for use should be
read carefully. Only the proper
handling of cast-iron guarantees
long-term enjoyment and good
cooking results.
The fondue pots can be used for
preheating on all types of hobs,
including induction. The contents of
the packaging also include fondue
forks with a small barbed hook for
securely skewering the food for
cooking.
Attention: Please note that when
preheating the fondue pot on a hob,
you need to heat the pot slowly,
not on the highest setting. This
allows the pot time to expand. If it is
preheated too quickly and on a high
setting, the enamel may crack.
A lid can be used when preheating
the pot for better energy efficiency.
Any standard lid with a 20 cm diam-
eter will fit on the Calido fondues.
Our Calido lid (art. no. 11940) or the
Callisto glass lid (art. no. 10871) are
suitable.
NEVER LEAVE THE FONDUE
UNATTENDED WHILE IN USE,
PARTICULARLY WHEN THERE
ARE CHILDREN AROUND!
High-quality material properties
The pots, casseroles, and pans of
the cast iron line Calido are very
heavy. They are covered on the
inside and outside with an enamel
coating. Enamelling forms a protec-
tive layer that protects against rust
and prevents food from sticking.
Only enamel coatings that comply
with applicable international regula-
tions are being used.
Before using it for the first time
Clean the fondue pot with hot water
and a mild detergent. Then rinse
the entire pot with clear water and
dry it well.
