Using the timer
You can use the timer to set the desired fry-
ing time. When the set time is reached, an
alarm will sound.
• Set the timer using the timer button 31:
- Press the timer button 31 once: switch
on the timer
- Press the timer button 31 quickly and
repeatedly: set the minutes
- Keep the timer button 31 pressed:
fast forward
• Release the timer button 31 and the tim-
er will start. The time flashes on the tim-
er display 32. The set minutes are
counted down. During the last minute
the timer counts the seconds.
• While the timer is running, you can re-
set the alarm time by holding down the
timer button 31.
• After the set time has expired, an alarm
will sound and 00 will flash on the timer
display 32. The alarm is repeated once
after a short time. The timer then switch-
es off.

Frying

Never let water drip into the hot frying oil.
The frying basket 6 and the food to be
fried must be dry.
The device should only be operated
with dry hands.
During frying, hot steam escapes from
the openings above the oil filter 1. Be
careful not to put your hands into the
steam.
Do not put the food to be fried into the
frying basket 6 while it is hanging over
the hot oil. Small pieces might fall into
the oil and lead to splashes.
Never move the deep fryer 15 while it
is still hot!

1. Fill the food to be fried into the frying bas-
ket 6. The frying basket 6 must not be
filled above the MAX 5 marking.
2. Remove the lid 4 when the green tem-
perature control light 29 is lit.
3. Now carefully lower the frying basket 6
into the oil.
4. Put the lid 4 on.
5. Now set the desired frying time with the
timer button 31 if necessary.
6. Watch the frying process through the in-
spection window 3. The food cooks
very quickly when being fried. Please
observe the recommended frying times
as precisely as possible.
7. If you have set the timer, an alarm will
sound when the fried food is completely
cooked.
8. When the fried food is completely
cooked, remove the lid 4 upwards.
9. Figure C: remove the frying basket 6
from the oil and hang it on the front
edge of the oil tank 8 using the holder
under the handle 7 to drain.
10.When the oil has dripped off, put the
food into a bowl or similar.
11.For additional frying processes, another
temperature must be set, if applicable.
12.Prior to each frying process, the device
should be given time to heat up until the
green temperature control light 29
lights up again.
13.When you finish frying, switch the tem-
perature controller 30 to MIN.
14.Let the device cool down until the green
oil cleaning control light 27 lights up.
The device is then ready for the oil
cleaning function.
NOTE: after frying, you can also switch off
the device and unplug the mains plug 13
and perform the oil cleaning later (after at
least 4 hours).
