6. Oil cleaning function
DANGER! Risk of injury from
burning!
Allow the oil to cool down after frying,
at least until the green oil cleaning con-
trol light 27 lights up. As long as the
red oil cleaning control light 26 is lit,
the frying oil is too hot to drain.
The following positions can be set on the
slider 17:
In the left position, the oil storage
container 21 can be pushed into
the compartment 19 or pulled out
again and the oil tank 8 can be in-
serted or removed.
In this position the deep fryer must
not be switched on.
The middle position is for frying in-
cluding heating up and cooling. In
this position the oil storage contain-
er 21 cannot be pulled out or
pushed in. The oil tank 8 can be in-
serted or removed.
When in the right position the outlet
for the oil is opened so that the oil
can flow from the oil tank 8 into the
oil storage container 21. The oil
flows through the small screen in
the bottom of the oil tank 8 and is
cleaned. In this position, the oil
storage container cannot be pulled
out or pushed in and the oil tank
must not be removed or inserted.
The deep fryer must not be
switched on.
The cleaned frying oil is securely sealed and
stored in the oil storage container 21. In this
cleaned and hermetically sealed condition it
has a longer shelf life. The deep fryer can be
cleaned. The next time the deep fryer is
used, the frying oil will be poured from the
oil storage container 21 back into the oil
tank 8.
