10.3 Disposing the frying oil
WARNING Risk of material damage!
Frying oil must not be disposed of into
drains or the toilet! The oil or fat solidi-
fies and can block the drains.
Any oil with quality defects must immediate-
ly be disposed of (see "The basics of frying"
on page 9).
10.4 Cleaning the deep fryer
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
The electrical unit 10 must not be im-
mersed in water and must be protected
from water in general.
Take the deep fryer apart and
remove coarse residues
1. Remove the lid 4.
2. Pull the electrical unit 10 out upwards.
3. Use kitchen paper to remove as much
oil and frying residue as possible from
the oil tank 8 and heating element 14.
4. Move the slider 17 to the left
position.
Or move the slider 17 to the
middle position.
5. Take out the oil tank 8.

washer
The following accessories can be cleaned in
the dishwasher:

• Place the screw cap 22 separately, for
example, in the cutlery basket or cutlery
rack.
• If the oil tank 8 is too tall, check wheth-
er the upper basket of your dishwasher
can be adjusted in height.
NOTE: you can also clean these parts by
hand with warm water and detergent. Then
rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Let all parts dry completely before you
put them away or use the device again.
Cleaning the electrical unit and
housing
• The electrical unit 10 with the heating
element 14 must not be rinsed or im-
mersed in water.
• The housing 15 must not be cleaned in
a dishwasher.
1. Wipe these parts several times with a
damp cloth and mild detergent. Make
sure that no water enters the electrical
unit 10.
2. Wipe several times with a damp cloth
and clear water.
