Tine replacement
For safety reasons, never attempt to replace the tines
yourself – always have this done by a specialist
authorised workshop. The information below is only
intended for authorised workshops.
Always disconnect the spark plug cap before starting
work. Tilt the device backwards or lift it up. Ensure that
the device is in a stable position when working on it.
Clean any dirt or foreign bodies off the tine shaft. Undo
the four bolts on the middle flange of the tine shaft.
Pull out the shaft. Take out the tines and the springs
from the shaft. The tines and springs should be
checked for wear, and if necessary, the springs should
be replaced as well. Insert the new tines and springs.
Tighten the bolts on the tine shaft according to the
torque specifications. There is no need to realign the
shaft after assembly of the tines.
