Adjustment range: Function description
Southern Europe
Yes: If the collector temperature falls below the set value
function
( Switch-on temp. S.Eur. fct.) sinks, the solar pump is
on. This pumps hot water from the cylinder through the
collector. If the collector temperature exceeds the set
temperature by 2 K, the pump is off.
This function is intended solely for regions where the high
temperatures mean that damage from freezing usually
cannot occur.
Caution! The Mediterranean climate function does not
provide absolute protection from damage caused by
freezing. The system may need to be operated with heat
transfer medium instead of water only!
No: Southern European function is switched off.
Switch-on temp.
4 ... 5 ... 8 °C: If the collector temperature falls below the
S.Eur. fct.
value set here, the solar pump is on.
Collector cooling
Yes: Collector array 1 is actively cooled via the connected
function
emergency cooler when 100 °C (= Max. collector temp. –
20 °C) is exceeded.
No: Collector cooling function switched off.

WARNING:
Risk of scalding!
▶ If DHW temperatures above 60 °C are set or thermal disinfection is
switched on, a mixer must be installed.

Adjustment range: Function description
Max. temp. cyl. 1
Off: 1st cylinder is not heated.
20 ... 60 ... 90 °C: If the temperature set here is exceeded
in cylinder 1, the solar pump is off.
Max. temp. cyl. 2
Off: 2nd cylinder is not heated.
20 ... 60 ... 90 °C: If the temperature set here is exceeded
in cylinder 2, the solar pump is off or the valve is closed
(subject to the selected function).
Max. pool temp.
Off: The swimming pool is not heated.
20 ... 25 ... 90 °C: If the temperature set here is exceeded
in the swimming pool, the solar pump is off or the valve is
closed (subject to the selected function).
Max. temp. cyl. 3
Off: 3rd cylinder is not heated.
20 ... 60 ... 90 °C: If the temperature set here is exceeded
in cylinder 3, the solar pump is off, the pool pump is off,
or the valve is closed (subject to the selected function).
Priority cylinder
Cylinder 1
Cylinder 2 (Pool)
Cylinder 3 (Pool)
The cylinder set up here is the high priority cylinder;
 function Cylinder 2 with valve (B), Cylinder 2 with
pump (C) and Cylinder 3 with valve (N). The cylinders
are heated in the following order:
Priority cylinder 1: 1 – 2 or 1 – 2 – 3
Priority cylinder 2: 2 – 1 or 2 – 1 – 3
Priority cylinder 3: 3 – 1 – 2
Test interval
15 ... 30 ... 120 min: If the low priority cylinder is
priority cyl.
currently being heated, the solar pumps are switched off
at the regular intervals specified here.
Test duration
5 ... 10 ... 30 min: While the solar pumps are switched off
priority cyl.
( Test interval priority cyl.), the temperature in the
collector increases and the required temperature
differential for heating the high priority cylinder may be
reached during this period.

Elapsed time valve
10 ... 120 ... 600 s: The elapsed time set here determines
cyl. 2
how long it takes the 3-way valve to switch from cylinder 1
to cylinder 2, or vice versa.
Switch-on diff. heat
6 ... 20 K: If the differential set here between the cylinder
ex.
temperature and the temperature at the heat exchanger is
exceeded and all conditions for switching on have been
met, the cylinder primary pump is on.
Switch-off diff. heat
3 ... 17 K: If the differential between the cylinder
ex.
temperature and the temperature at the heat exchanger
falls below the value set here, the cylinder primary pump is
off.
Frost prot. temp.
3 ... 5 ... 20 °C: If the temperature at the external heat
heat ex.
exchanger falls below the temperature set here, the
cylinder primary pump is on. This protects the heat
exchanger from damage from freezing.

Adjustment range: Function description
Start diff. ctrl. heat
6 ... 20 K: If the differential set here between the cylinder
back.
temperature and heating return is exceeded and all
conditions for switching on have been met, the cylinder is
integrated in the heating return for central heating backup
via the 3-way valve.
End diff. ctrl. heat.
3 ... 17 K: If the differential between the cylinder
back.
temperature and the heating return falls below the value
set here, the cylinder is bypassed via the 3-way valve for
central heating backup.
Max. mixer temp.
20 ... 60 ... 90 °C: The temperature set here is the
CH
maximum temperature permitted in the heating return
when achieved via central heating backup.
Mixer elapsed time
10 ... 120 ... 600 s: The elapsed time set here determines
CH
how long it takes the 3-way valve or the 3-way mixer from
"cylinder to be fully integrated in heating return" on to
"bypass for the cylinder", or vice versa.
