2. Pull the mounts on the rear adjusting ring towards the
center of the helmet and remove the neck and ear cover.
3. Release the neck and ear cover from the front adjusting
ring at the side joints.
4. Fit the new neck and ear cover in reverse order of
removal.
5.2.2 Replacing the face-guard
Tools required:
– Torx screwdriver T15
– Torque screwdriver T15
– Installation cushion
Spare parts required:
– O-rings (3701719)
– Face-guard (3724534)
The screws on the front adjusting ring also secure the
function plates and the face-guard. If the screws on the front
adjusting ring are loosened, the function plates and the face-
guard will also be loose.

1. Loosen both screws of the front adjusting ring.
2. Gently press the front adjusting ring towards the center of
the helmet and remove the face-guard.
3. Check the O-rings in the front adjusting ring for any signs
of damage and replace if necessary.
4. Press the function plate onto the helmet shell and place
the face-guard on the dome of the function plate between
the helmet shell and front adjusting ring.
5. Tighten both screws on the front adjusting ring (torque:
2 Nm (1.48 lb-ft)).
5.2.3 Replacing the eye-guard (optional)
