7. Loosen the helmet end rail in the helmet shell.
8. Remove the helmet end rail.
9. First press the new helmet end rail into the two grooves in
the center at the back and then insert into the helmet shell
at the sides. The individual connections must click into
place.
10. Insert the adjusting wheel into the helmet shell and secure
with the circlip.
11. Insert the telescope into the adjusting wheel.
12. Secure the harness at the rear adjusting ring.

5.2.9 Replacing the O-ring on the adjusting
wheel
Tools required:
– Torx screwdriver T15
– Torque screwdriver T15
– Circlip pliers
Spare parts required:
– HPS SafeGuard O-Ring spare part set (3701637)
– Adjusting wheel, where applicable (3701635)
1. Pull the harness from the slot hole.
2. Pull the telescope from the adjusting wheel.
3. Loosen the circlip using the circlip pliers.
