4. Pull the adjusting wheel from the helmet shell.
5. Remove the O-ring from the adjusting wheel.
6. Place the new O-ring on the adjusting wheel. Use a new
adjusting wheel if necessary.
7. Insert the adjusting wheel into the helmet shell and secure
with the circlip.
8. Insert the telescope into the adjusting wheel.
9. Secure the harness at the rear adjusting ring.
5.2.10 Replacing the reflective strips
Tools required:
– Benzine
– Lint-free, benzine-resistant cloth
– Disposable gloves
– Hairdryer, as required
Spare parts required:
– Reflective strip, rear
yellow (3724523)
– Reflective strip, side
Silver (3701570)
– Reflective strip, front
yellow (3724522)
CAUTION
Use suitable protective gloves when working with benzine.
Ensure that no benzine comes into contact with the eyes.
In case of contact with the eyes, keep eyes open and rinse
thoroughly with clean, flowing water for at least 10 minutes.
Remove any contact lenses.
Heat the reflective strip with a standard hairdryer for easier
removal.
1. Remove the old reflective strip by hand.
2. Dip the cloth into the benzine and carefully remove any
adhesive residue.

5.2.10.1 Affixing the rear reflective strip
1. Align the cut-out in the center of the reflective strip with the
marking on the helmet shell.
2. Remove the protective foil from the side of the reflective
strip and, starting from the center, slowly affix the reflective
strip.
3. Align the reflective strip with the edge, slightly pull it with
one hand and smooth out any creases with your fingers.
4. Remove the protective foil from the other side of the
reflective strip and affix the other side of the reflective strip
in exactly the same way.
5. Remove the outer protective foil from the reflective strip.
5.2.10.2 Affixing the side reflective strip
1. Remove the protective foil from the narrow side of the
reflective strip.
2. Align the tip of the reflective strip with the tip of the
function plate and with the long edge of the function plate.
3. Affix the reflective strip.
4. Completely remove the protective foil, affix the reflective
strip and smooth out any creases with your fingers.
5. Remove the outer protective foil from the reflective strip.
5.2.10.3 Affixing the front reflective strip
1. Remove the protective foil from one side.
