2. Secure the new harness at the front and rear adjusting
rings.
5.2.5.3 Replacing the crown straps
Spare parts required:
– Crown straps (3724529)
It is possible to replace the crown straps without needing to
remove any other internal helmet components. The image
used has been chosen to highlight the positioning in the
adjusting rings.
1. Pull the crown straps from the slot holes.

The crown straps are the same on both sides. The
direction in which the straps are positioned in the helmet is
not important.
2. Tighten the new crown straps in the front and rear
adjusting rings.
The crown straps are part of the helmet's overall
cushioning system.
To ensure that the helmet protects the wearer as intended,
attach the crown straps to the rear adjusting ring.
5.2.5.4 Replacing the front head padding
The front head padding is firmly attached to the front
support ring. In order to replace the front head padding, the
front support ring needs to be replaced.
Spare parts required:
– Front support ring with head padding 3724544
1. Slide the front and rear support rings against each other in
the slot holes and separate them.
There is a slot hole in the front adjusting ring. The front
support ring is engaged with this slot hole. To release it,
the front support ring must be pulled from the helmet shell.
2. Release the front support ring from the front adjusting ring.
