3. First attach the new front plate at the edge of the helmet
and then the narrow side of the helmet shell.
4. Place the cover on the front plate.
5. Tighten the screw with the torque screwdriver (torque:
0,7 Nm (0.52 lb-ft)).
5.2.8 Replacing the helmet end rail
Spare parts required:
– Helmet end rail (3724502)
– Circlip pliers
As the helmet end rail is inserted into the helmet shell with
tension, it will generally break when removed from the helmet
shell.
1. Pull the harness from the slot hole.

2. Pull the telescope from the adjusting wheel.
3. Loosen the circlip using the circlip pliers.
4. Pull the adjusting wheel from the helmet shell.
5. Heat the helmet end rail with a hairdryer in order to soften
the adhesion.
6. Remove the helmet end rail from the outside of the helmet
shell.
