4 Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning and storing
A simple and minimum maintenance is provided for the
ROSPOT which must be performed in regular intervals in
order to keep the device in proper condition.
Regularly clean the slots (1) of the cooling of the
transformer using a cloth or brush in order to ensure
flawless air exchange. The handles of the welding
appliance (4) must be dry, clean and without traces of
grease. Always keep the surfaces of the electrodes (2)
and of the electrode support tube (3) clean and free from
oil, lubricant, dust, lacquer, etc. in order to ensure
flawless passage of current. After use it is recommended to remove the lateral handle (4) and to
store the ROSPOT in the provided box (5) together with the different accessory parts.
