0. Preliminary note
0.1 Introduction
It is recommended to completely and thoroughly read the present instructions before
performing any intervention on resp. with the device.
Please strictly follow all advices and provisions included in the instructions.
The instructions are part of the device and must be carefully kept as such during the whole
service life and useful life of the device.
If the device is sold to a third party the instructions must be delivered to the new owner
together with the corresponding documentation.
When handling the instructions make sure that they are not damaged.
0.2 Symbols used in the instructions
! Note: (Notes regarding the use.) This symbol serves to highlight provisions which are of
particular importance for the correct usage of the machine.
Attention: (Notes regarding the safety.) This symbol serves to highlight provisions which are
of utmost importance. If these provisions are not observed it may cause dangerous situations
for the machine and impair the safety of the staff.
Information service
This symbol indicates that the authorized dealer must be informed about any particular
situation. Furthermore, it indicates the option to request information about a certain argument.

1. General information
1.1 Labeling data of the device
The unit is marked by a sign applied to the device which cannot be removed.
Attention!
The labeling sign of the device must not be modified, damaged or removed in any case.
! Note:
If the labeling sign is damaged by accident (if it is peeled off the device, damaged or only
partially illegible) the manufacturer must be immediately informed about it.
1.2 General safety notes
ATTENTION!
If these provisions are not observed it may be extremely dangerous for the safety of
the device and for the operating staff.
Always disconnect the power plug if you leave the device unattended or if it is not used
before cleaning it resp. before replacing the electrode and accessory parts.
Regularly check the condition of the power cable:
-Do not pull it on the power cable when moving the device.
-Do not pull on the cable of the plug when disconnecting the device from the mains plug.
-Keep the power cable at a distance from heat sources, sharp resp. cutting edges, etc.
-Do not use the device if the electrical cable is damaged.
Do not expose the device to rain or to too high humidity. Keep the working range clear and do
not use the device in areas where there is a risk of fire or explosion.
Always keep the ventilation grids of the welding gun and of the electrodes clean from dust and
other deposits.
Check the condition of the device before each use. At this check if there are possible
conditions which might impair the function. Possibly damaged or broken parts must be
