b) Mains adapters
• Ensure that you use the correct mains adapter when setting up the product, The mains adapter with a
2 A output is designed for the monitor/DVR, and the second mains adapter with a 1 A output should be
used to power the wireless camera.
• Both mains adapters are manufactured according to Protection Class II.
• The mains adapters must be connected to a standard mains socket that is connected to the public grid.
• The mains sockets must be located near to the monitor/DVR and wireless camera and be easily acces-
sible.
• The mains adapters are only intended for use in dry, enclosed areas. They must not get damp or wet, as
this may cause a fatal electric shock!
• Do not unplug the mains adapter by pulling on the cable.
• Protect the mains adapter cables from sharp edges and do not step on them.
• Do not touch the mains adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may cause a fatal electric shock!
Fully disconnect the mains voltage for the socket to which the mains adapter is connected (e.g. turn
off the corresponding circuit breaker or unscrew the fuse, and then turn off the residual current circuit
breaker).
Unplug the adapter from the mains socket and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Always power the monitor/DVR and wireless camera using the mains adapters provided. If one of mains
adapters is faulty, it must be replaced by an identical, stabilised mains adapter with the same technical
specifications (voltage/current).
c) Monitor/DVR
• The monitor/DVR is only suitable for use in dry, enclosed indoor areas. Do not expose it to direct sunlight,
heat, cold, humidity or moisture, as this may damage the interior components. Do not place any contain-
ers filled with liquid next to the monitor/DVR.
• When using the monitor/DVR stand, ensure that the monitor/DVR is placed on a stable, level surface to
prevent it from falling over. Use a suitable pad or cloth to protect valuable furniture against marks and
scratches.
If you wish to mount the monitor/DVR to a wall via the screw holes, ensure that the screws/hooks/nails
are securely in place to prevent the monitor from falling off the wall.
• Do not apply pressure to the surface of the display, as this may result in scratch marks or damage/crack
the display and void the guarantee/warranty!
