Cones too soft
➥ Counterweight too far back
➥ Insuffi cient braking
➥ Arm too tight
Cone vibrates
➥ Tube bad or not suitable for the spindle
➥ Arm not tightened enough; regulate lockrings.
Turns were too slack at the beginning
➥ Spindle centres are not running freely.
➥ Arm too tight
➥ Too little counterweight on the cone
➥ Regulate. If this does not solve the problem, briefl y rub the yarn between your
fi ngers, because the yarn is too slippery.

The motor for one head does not stop

Pin out of place
➥ Insert correctly (it can only be inserted in its seating in one way).
Detached wire
➥ Change microswitch plus wire assembly.
Cut wire
➥ Change microswitch plus wire assembly.
Broken microswitch
➥ Change microswitch plus wire assembly.
WARNING
Possession of the "spare parts" book does not authorize the user to perform any serv-
icing or repair operation on the machine beyond what is specifi cally directed in the
operator's manual. Users are nonetheless encouraged to provide service technicians
with accurate information on any fault or malfunction to the end of minimizing callout
times.
If a wire has been disconnected from the plug or from the motor
➥ Check and reconnect.
A fuse has blown
➥ Replace fuse on the circuit board (fi g.10) with new one of the correct rating.
Worn brushes; the fuse has burnt out
➥ Replace, taking care to reconnect the wires so that the motor runs in the same direc-
tion; replace the burnt fuse.
Circuit board faulty
➥ Replace circuit board (fi g.10). (Remember to disconnect the power supply to the
machine).
