Caring for the
environment
Before connecting
your appliance
❏ Your new appliance will be delivered to your
home in protective packaging. All the materials
used in the production of this packaging are
environmentally friendly or can be re-used. Actively
contribute to environmental care by disposing of
this packaging material ecologically.
❏ Render your used appliance useless or attach a
sticker to it indicating that it is no longer usable
before disposing of it. Your local authority or
authorised establishment will be pleased to inform
you of the different ways in which these materials
can be disposed of.
❏ In order to care for the environment when using
your appliance, follow the instructions for the use
and handling of cooking receptacles as described
later on in this manual.
❏ Read the instruction booklet before using your
appliance for the first time. It contains important
information not only concerning use, but also your
own personal safety.
❏ Keep both the instructions for use and
instructions for installation booklets. They might
prove useful to later owners.
❏ Do not use a damaged appliance.
❏ Installation and connection should both be carried
out by an authorised technician in accordance
with the instructions for installation and current
regulations. Should the attached instructions not
be followed correctly, you might lose your
warranty.
❏ Our appliances are manufactured in full
compliance with current safety standards for
household appliances. Only technicians instructed
in these matters are authorised to perform repair
work. Your safety is at stake
