Product-specifi c safety instructions
Risk of death due to electric shock
The APAS test device may only be commissioned, operated and
decommissioned by authorized specialist personnel in accordance
with the instructions in chapter 5 "Commissioning, operation and
decommissioning".
Only the original accessories supplied may be used for connection.
The ground connection supplied to the APAS test device must be low
in external voltage.
The APAS test device must not be used to extend a protective
conductor system.
Risk of injury and damage due to malfunction of the machine as
a result of a fault in the connected APAS test device or as a result of
electromagnetic incompatibility
The APAS test device may only be used with the original accessories
supplied.
The APAS test device may only be commissioned, operated and
decommissioned by authorized specialist personnel in accordance
with chapter 5.
The APAS test device must be removed from the machine to be
tested immediately after use and the machine must be reset to the
TARGET state.
Observe the specifi cations according to chapter 6 "Maintenance and
inspection".
Operate the APAS test device only under the ambient conditions
specifi ed in chapter 3.4.
Risk of injury and damage due to the APAS test device CT-H falling or
being thrown around
The machine is operated in manual mode or at reduced,
safely monitored collaboration speed while the APAS test device CT-H
is in use.
For stationary use, the APAS test device is placed fi rmly on a level
surface with a suitable stand or comparable device.
Block off the danger zone of the machine while using the
APAS test device CT-H.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as protective
goggles and safety shoes.
