2.3 Improper use
Any use other than that described in the section "Intended use"
is considered improper and is not permitted. Bosch Rexroth AG is not
liable for any damage resulting from improper use. The user alone bears
any risks associated with improper use.
The product is especially not suitable for determining braking distances
or braking times of robot systems. The following foreseeable misuses
also constitute improper use:
• Use in humid environments
• Use in environments in which the robot system or machine to be
inspected is not used as intended
• Use in heavily polluted environments
• Use for acceptance or inspection of protective equipment other than
the sensor skin
• Use as protective conductor system
• Connection to unintended, live connections
• Use outside the specifi ed operating limits
• Use as test equipment after the maintenance interval has expired
without re-inspection
2.4 Personnel qualifi cations
The activities described in this user manual may only be performed
by authorized specialists. The required role is indicated at the
respective point.
2.4.1 Person commissioning the APAS test device CT-H
The person commissioning the APAS test device CT-H is a specialist who,
based on his training, can safely open and close a control cabinet and
safely plug in and unplug preassembled connectors in the control cabinet.
The specialist has the following minimum qualifi cations:
• Professional training in a technical fi eld
• Certifi cate of instruction in electrical engineering
2.4.2 System integrator
The system integrator is a trained specialist with knowledge in the
following areas:
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering
• System knowledge of robot control
• Knowledge of sensor skin maintenance and commissioning.
Due to his/her training, knowledge and experience, the system integrator
is able to perform the following tasks:
• Install robot systems in existing system and/or add robot systems to an
application.
• Detecting potential hazards during integration and defi ning suitable
safety measures.
• Properly commission the robot systems.
