INSTALLATION—VENTED TO THE OUTSIDE

CUT DUCT TO LENGTH FOR
VENTED
■ M easure from house
duct to exhaust
opening.
■ C ut the 8" duct length
to size.
■ S lip duct over the
exhaust opening.
■ S eal the connection
with duct tape.

INSTALL THE SUPPORT FRAME
■ R aise the support toward
the ceiling.
■ T hread the house wiring
through one of the large
holes, preferably on the left
side.
■ C arefully engage the
ceiling mounting screws to
the keyhole slots AND the
house duct in the top of the
frame.
■ T ighten the 4 mounting
screws against the frame.
■ I nstall 2 safety screws.
■ U se duct tape to seal the
duct connection at the top.

5 INSTALL HOOD ATTACHMENT
SCREWS
■ I nstall 4 hood attachment screws in the bottom of
the support as shown. Leave 1/4" gap between
screw head and support flange.
