4.6 Protection of the environment
The PAC50 has been designed to minimize its impact on the environment. It consumes only a minimum
of energy. Always act in an environmentally responsible manner at work. For this reason, please note the
following information on disposal. The PAC50 display can be switched off (DISC function) to reduce current
consumption by the device.
4.6.1 Disposal after final decommissioning
Always dispose of unusable or irreparable devices in accordance with the applicable waste disposal regula-
tions specific to your country. SICK AG does not take back devices that are unusable or irreparable.
