Maintenance
!
Work on electrical equipment is only to be per-
formed by persons with sufficient knowledge and
experience of electrical systems!
8.1
Cleaning
!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents and coarse
workshop cloths!

The housing and the LCD are only to be cleaned
using a soft cloth and neutral cleaning agents.
8.2
Maintenance
!
Empty the SMT 300 before sending for servicing, as
otherwise the oil can drain out.

Changing the battery in the

1. Unscrew the cover from the housing
2. Remove the battery holder with microbatteries from
the housing.
3. Remove old batteries from the battery holder.
4. Insert new microbatteries (3 x AAA) in the direction
shown on the insides of the openings in the battery
holder.
5. Insert the battery holder into the housing in accor-
dance with the direction shown by the arrow on the
holder.
6. Screw the rear cover onto the housing.
