b) Explanation of the displays in operation (not for programming)
Model designation (Figure 3, Item 2) and model number (Figure 3, Item 6)
The remote control can be pre-programmed for up to 6 flight models. This way, you don't have to reprogram the remote control every time you want to fly another model.
When turning on, the designation and the number of the currently selected model appears.
Before you start flying, ensure that the correct model has been set on the remote control. Using the values for another model could cause your
current flight model to crash.
Ideally, you should make note of which flight model you have programmed under which designation and number on the remote control. You can e. g. stick
this note onto the back of the remote control.
Voltage display (Figure 3, Item 5)
The current voltage of the batteries and/or storage batteries inserted is shown:
9.5 V or more: Sufficient voltage is available.
9.4 V or less: First change the batteries or charge the storage batteries before you start flying.
8.9 V or less: You have less than 10 minutes before the remote control will fail due to insufficient voltage. Immediately initiate a safe landing and change the batteries or
charge the storage batteries.
8.5 V: With a voltage of 8.5 V, you have approx. 4 minutes time at the most in order to land safely before the remote control fails. A battery
symbol will also flash on the display and the remote control will alert you of the dangerous situation by issuing an alarm.
Alarm message with activated mixers
This display appears when activating the remote control and an audio warning is also emitted if the switches "Constant rotary speed" (Figure 1,
Item 5) and/or the flight state switch for normal and/or aerobatic flight (Figure 1, Item 19) are activated. Both functions must first be deactivated so
that the remote control is reset to the normal operating mode.
Alarm in the event of Data Loss
If the memory of the remote control has lost the data required for flying, the adjacent display will appear. Turn off the remote control and then back
on in order to reload the data. Here, the memory slot from 1 to 6, for which the data is in the process of being restored, will appear. During this
process, do not in any case deactivate the remote control as restoring the data will otherwise be cancelled. As soon as the memory slot number
is no longer displayed, you can turn off the remote control and turn it back on.
