Connection

ITC-U1001
The 1-ITC-U1001 is intended solely for use on the
QuantumX MX809B. To ensure safe and reliable
operation, read the operating manual for MX809B before
using.
Safety is fully ensured in all states in accordance with
EN 61010-031: not connected, partially connected and
fully connected.
WARNING
Check the voltage measuring lead for damage before
initial operation and regularly during ongoing operation. If
a defect occurs, take the ITC-U1001 out of operation im­
mediately and make certain the voltage measuring lead
cannot be placed in operation again.
To reduce interference signals:
S Connect the housing of the MX809B to ground
potential.
S Use a ground point from which all distributed devices
can be integrated into the grounding system
separately in a star configuration.
S Physically separate measuring leads from leads con­
nected to sources that are subject to interference or
highly dynamic sources.
S Do not route the measuring leads parallel to the leads
carrying alternating quantities (such as AC power
lines).
S Lay the measuring leads as far away as possible from
potentially interfering leads to electric motors or
inverters.
