Intended use

The voltage measuring lead, ITC-U1001 is used exclu­
sively for determining temperatures within the dimension­
ing limits given in the specifications and in combination
with the QuantumX MX809B from HBM.
The ITC-U1001 voltage measuring lead is intended for
use in the environment defined in the specifications. The
lead must not be routed through outdoor areas. The stor­
age and transport conditions are also listed in the specifi­
cations at the end of this document.
The voltage measuring lead must not be used if there is
a danger of explosion or together with aggressive chemi­
cal effects or radioactive radiation.
Any person assigned to carry out assembly, connection
or operation of voltage measuring leads type ITC-U1001
must have read and understood the operating manual
and in particular the technical safety instructions.
In the interests of safety, the entire measurement chain
should only be operated in areas with an elevated hazard
level by qualified personnel (see below) and as described
in the operating manual.
It is also essential to comply with the legal and safety
requirements for the relevant application during use.
The ITC-U1001 voltage measuring lead is not intended
for use as a safety component. Please also refer to the
"Additional safety precautions" section.
