Maintenance and cleaning
Please note the following points when cleaning the ITC-
U1001:
S Disconnect the ITC-U1001 from all current and
voltage supplies.
S Take suitable measures to ensure that the ITC-U1001
cannot be exposed to dangerous electric potential.
S Clean the parts of the ITC-U1001 with a soft, slightly
damp (not wet!) cloth. You should never use solvents,
since they could damage the parts of the voltage

parts of the ITC-U1001 connector.
S Give the ITC-U1001 sufficient time to dry before
starting it up again.

Working safely
S When unpacking the contents of the package, check
to ensure that everything is present. When it is un

mechanical damage. If damage has occurred during
transit, the voltage measuring lead must not be oper
ated.
S Error messages should only be acknowledged once
the cause of the error has been eradicated and there
is no further danger.
