1. Remove the end stop.
2. Insert the wheels of the hoist into the rail.
The direction the hoist faces does not matter during
installation.
3. Install the end stop.
Tighten the bolt to 30 Nm.

4. If too much resistance is experienced when the hoist is pulled,
or the hoist moves too freely and unintentionally, adjust the
friction brake.
5. Connect the hand control.
6. Adjust the length of the emergency stop/lowering cord to within
the user's reach.

3.12 Inspection / check of the rail system

CAUTION!
After the installation of a rail system, the entire system
must be inspected.
– The inspection of a rail system must only be carried
out by a suitably qualified person.
– The inspection must follow the Safety inspection
checklist / Rail system in the Invacare®Robin™Service
Manual, section 4.4.
In accordance with the European standard EN 10535, the system shall
be stress tested with 300 kg. This should be done at each fixing point.
This test is carried out as a re-testing of the system structures ability
to secure the rail system in place.
