Device Description
Smith & Nephew BIORAPTOR™ Curved 2.3 PK
Suture Anchors are fixation devices intended
to provide secure attachment of soft tissue to
bone. These devices consist of a suture anchor
with an attached non-absorbable suture(s)
preassembled to a flexible insertion device.
BIORAPTOR Curved 2.3 PK Suture Anchors are
designed for use with the Smith & Nephew
curved guide, flexible obturator, and flexible
drill bit.
BIORAPTOR Curved 2.3 PK Suture Anchors are
provided sterile, for single use only.

Non-absorbable Suture Options
• White – braided, uncoated, UHMW
polyethylene
• W hite/blue – braided, uncoated,
UHMW polyethylene with monofilament
polypropylene cobraid
• W hite/black – braided, uncoated, UHMW
polyethylene with monofilament nylon
cobraid

Indications for Use

2.3 PK Suture Anchors are intended for
the reattachment of soft tissue to bone
for the following indications:
Shoulder
• Capsular stabilization
– Bankart repair
– Anterior shoulder instability
– SLAP lesion repairs
– Capsular shift or capsulolabral
reconstructions
• Acromioclavicular separation repairs
• Deltoid repairs
• Rotator cuff tear repairs
• Biceps tenodesis
Foot and Ankle
• Hallux valgus repairs
• Medial or lateral instability repairs/
reconstructions
• Achilles tendon repairs/reconstructions
