the pump/motor rating plate.
Electrical data (power and current consumption), dimensions
and weights are given in the catalogue. The pumps are inten-
ded for use in TN or TT systems. Their use in IT systems (unearthed
systems) may be authorised after consultation with the manu-
facturer.
Flow media:
If water/glycol mixtures with a ratio of 10% or more glycol (or
flow media with a viscosity other than that of pure water) are
used, the increased power consumption of the pump is to be
taken into account. Only brand products with anti-corrosion
inhibitors should be used. The manufacturer's instructions must
be strictly adhered to.
The flow medium must be free of sediment.

6 DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT AND ACCESSORIES

6.1 Pump and motor

All the pumps described here are single-stage low-pressure cir-
culation pumps in a compact design with coupled motor. The
pumps can be assembled directly as inline pumps in a well-
fastened pipeline or placed on a foundation base.
LRE: The pump housing is of an INLINE design, i.e. the suction

and discharge flanges are on a common centre line. All
pump housings are provided with pump feet. It is recommen-
ded that the pump be installed on a foundation base.
JRE: Two pumps are arranged in the same housing (double
x
pump). The pump housing is of an INLINE design. All pump
housings are provided with pump feet. It is recommended
that the pump be installed on a foundation base.
An electronic module attached to the motor housing regula-
tes the speed of the pump to a nominal value within a permis-
sible range of values. Depending on the control system invol-
ved, the differential pressure is subject to different criteria.
Regardless of the control system involved, the pump continual-
ly adapts itself to the varying power requirements of the units,
especially when being used in conjunction with thermostatic
valves or mixers.
