During the communication breakdown the pre-

vious slave cannot operate in normal mode
because the pressure sensor is connected to the
master.
After communication is restored the pumps resume operation
in normal double pump mode, as before the fault.
Pump swap: In double pump mode, a pump swap is carried
x
out every 24 hours. The time of the pump swap corresponds
to the time of the start-up.
External Off, actual value input IN1, set value input IN2, 24 V output:
x
— when connected to the master: affects the entire unit.
— External Off can also be connected to the slave: affects
only the slave pump.
SSM: A collective fault signal (SSM) can be attached to the
x
master for a central control point. The contact may only be
connected to the master. The reading is valid for the entire
unit. For single fault message, the contact must be connec-
ted to each pump.
SBM: A collective run signal (SBM) can be attached to the
x
master for a central control point. The contact may only be
connected to the master. The reading is valid for the entire
unit. For single run message, the contact must be connected
to each pump.
The EBM/SBM is active as long as the motor is operating. The
signal disappears when the motor has stopped.

When started up for the first time, the pump uses the factory
settings. For the individual setting and adjustment of the pump,
the operation menu (see section 7.4.2) and the service menu
(see section 7.4.3) are used. See also Chap. 11.7 'Error types'
and annex.
Changing the settings for the differential pressure sen-

sor may cause malfunctions!
The factory settings are configured for the SALM-
SON differential pressure sensor provided.
Setting values: input IN1 = 0-10 V
If the Salmson differential pressure sensor is used,
these settings must remain unchanged!
Changes are only required when using other dif-
ferential pressure sensors.
After switching on the module, all symbols appear on the display for 2 s.
Next, the current status is shown.
