Periodic inspection and repair

• To ensure safety, the operator must perform regular periodic
inspections on the equipment to verify its efficiency and its
strength.
• An annual overhaul is required. However, depending on the
frequency of use, the environmental conditions and the
regulations of the user company or country in which the
system is used, more frequent periodic inspections may be
required.
• The periodic inspections must be carried out by a qualified
person in full observance of the inspection procedures defined
by the manufacturer.
• Check that all markings on the products are present and
legible when performing the periodic inspection.
The lifespan of the travsmart slider is 10 years from the date of
manufacture, provided it has been used and maintained in
accordance with the strict recommendations of this manual.
If this 10-year period after the date of manufacture has expired,
only an authorised technician may authorise its return to
service, after inspection.
