SPECIAL VERSIONS
The instructions for repairing special versions are given below.
Unless specified otherwise, refer to the information above for
the standard KS pump.

KSR-KSGR pumps: for repair, follow the instructions for
the standard KS pump with the exception of the pressure
seals, for which it is necessary to follow the dedicated
paragraph.
5.1
KSR‑KSGR PUMPS
5.1.1
Disassembly of the unit ‑ supports ‑ seals
Separate the seal support from the liner, remove the spring
ring and scraper ring (pos. , Fig. 48) to access the pressure
seals (pos. , Fig. 49).

To remove the low pressure seal, remove the retaining ring
(pos. , Fig. 50) and the seal ring (pos. , Fig. 51).

5.1.2
Assembly of the support ‑ seal unit
Proceed with reassembly following the reverse order indicated
in par. 2.2.3.
Replace the pressure seals moistening the lips
with silicone grease (without spreading it),
taking extra care not to damage them during
liner insertion.
The O‑rings and the pressure seals must be
replaced at each disassembly.
Insert the low pressure seal in the packing support (pos. ,
Fig. 52) paying attention to the mounting direction which

requires that the sealing lip be set forward (towards the head).
Then insert the seal ring, retaining ring (pos. , Fig. 53) and
the O-ring (pos. , Fig. 54).
