Secure the reduction gearbox cover with the 10 M8x50
screws and calibrate the screws with a torque wrench
(Fig. 31) as indicated in chapter 3.

Check the conditions of the pinion oil seal lip; if it needs
replacing, position a new pinion oil seal ring using the tool
code 27904800.
If the shaft should present a diameter wear
corresponding to the lip seal, to prevent grinding,
position the ring in the second stroke as indicated
in Fig. 32.
After fitting the reduction unit check the pinion
rolling.

To modify the version, fitting the reduction unit where it has
not been contemplated, it is necessary to remove the shaft oil
seal (Fig. 33, pos. ) and insert the Ø8 gearbox reference pin
on the casing (Fig. 33, pos. ).
Then proceed with the operations specified in par. 2.1.4.
When modifying the version, removing the reduction unit
where it has been contemplated, you need to insert the
shaft oil seal ring in its seat on the side cover using the tool
code 27904800 (Fig. 33, pos. ).

Changing version ‑ fitting / removing the

Failing to carry out the steps described in
par. 2.1.5 will impair pump operation and
jeopardize operator safety.
REPAIRING HYDRAULIC PARTS
Disassembly of the head – valve units
Unscrew the 8 M12x35 valve cover fixing screws and
remove the covers (Fig. 34).
Remove the valve plugs by means of an extractor hammer
code 26019400 combined with the tool code 27513600
(Fig. 35).
Extract the valve units using the same extractor hammer
used for the valve plugs, to be applied in the M10 hole of
the valve guides (Fig. 36).
